Glenn Ottaway started the match with the kick off. Glenn Ottaway did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Henrique Berger 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Hacı Ali Tercan came free, but Valdo Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Hacı Ali Tercan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Ottaway in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Glenn Ottaway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Glenn Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Ottaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Benjamin Odd came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CA Brasileiros Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Odd couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes CA Brasileiros Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Proença. 21 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Benjamin Odd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrique Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Ottaway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Pinheiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Eusébio de Alcântara put in a rough tackle. FEARP FC's Abel Salles was substituted for Hacı Ali Tercan. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Henrique Berger. 39 minutes into the match, David Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Salles. CA Brasileiros Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

In the 54th match minute, CA Brasileiros Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Van Dijk to maneuver through the defense. Valdo Salles made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when David Cearense sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CA Brasileiros Juniors booed when FEARP FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubens Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes FEARP FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rubens Proença who took care of the corner kick. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Rubens Proença was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrique Berger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 63 minutes, David Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FEARP FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes, Luizão Van Dijk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Brasileiros Juniors and the FEARP FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FEARP FC booed when CA Brasileiros Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, FEARP FC's Josué Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdo Salles. Valdo Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. A collision led to CA Brasileiros Juniors getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tony Modig hit a great ball. David Cearense came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdo Salles could save by the left post. Henrique Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Ottaway in the 74th minute of the match. Josué Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Valdo Salles made a huge save. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Mazinho Gol was substituted for Glenn Ottaway. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Brasileiros Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Cearense was slow to take the kick. During this time FEARP FC's players had a chance to rest. Allan Monteiro made a great header on FEARP FC's corner, it was just that CA Brasileiros Juniors's Valdo Salles managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Mazinho Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Palmeira got free with Valdo Salles in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Allan Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Salles having to interfere. FEARP FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
