With his leg Veríssimo Azenha managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Veríssimo Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Glenn Ottaway cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Veríssimo Azenha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Glenn Ottaway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ricardo Quaresma fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marialva S.C.'s protests and gave Ricardo Quaresma a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Marialva S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Quaresma. Glenn Ottaway received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Veríssimo Azenha came out and tried to block the shot, but Glenn Ottaway slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Glenn Ottaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benjamin Odd came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the CA Brasileiros Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Odd couldn't finish the play. Glenn Ottaway blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veríssimo Azenha having to make a save. Veríssimo Azenha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Ottaway in the 32nd minute of the match. Veríssimo Azenha was a little too slow when Glenn Ottaway got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Glenn Ottaway did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Veríssimo Azenha 39 minutes into the match. Rubens Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Veríssimo Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veríssimo Azenha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Ottaway in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Waldemar Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Veríssimo Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Glenn Ottaway sped through Marialva S.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Veríssimo Azenha. Veríssimo Azenha came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Brasileiros Juniors's Waldemar Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Waldemar Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marialva S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Veríssimo Azenha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Ottaway went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Marialva S.C.'s Estevão Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdo Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glenn Ottaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Mazinho Gol was substituted for Glenn Ottaway. In the 83rd minute, Mazinho Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Brasileiros Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Benjamin Odd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veríssimo Azenha having to make a save. Veríssimo Azenha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the referee ended the match the CA Brasileiros Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
