Anacleto Uxio made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 7thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fabricio Ieltxu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A hard shot 8 in the game by Anacleto Uxio from a close distance when the talented Fabricio Ieltxu managed to make a qualified save. Tucumana AFC's players were relieved. Anacleto Uxio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fabricio Ieltxu 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Amadeo Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabricio Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Los Perros Locos FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Fix. In the 22nd minute Efrain Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Faron in the 23rd minute of play forced Los Perros Locos FC's goalkeeper Camilo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Fermin Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tucumana AFC and the Los Perros Locos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Lano's late challenge caught a Los Perros Locos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Lano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Perros Locos FC's Alf Ingham got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, Los Perros Locos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Ingham to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Ibar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eulalio Ezkerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Ezkerra was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Uxio took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Ieltxu. Fabricio Ieltxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 57th minute, Evaristo Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes, Los Perros Locos FC's Alf Ingham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabricio Ieltxu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Perros Locos FC reached it. 72 minutes into the game, Efrain Fix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fabricio Ieltxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Fix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Ieltxu having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Efrain Fix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Camilo Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Tucumana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Fix came free, but Fabricio Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tucumana AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Evaristo Faron hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, one of Tucumana AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tucumana AFC. Los Perros Locos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
