Francisco Lordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Luzea's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Paloma Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Luzea came free, but Francisco Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Txeru might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Lordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Txeru ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Paloma Blanca getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rigoberto Reynardo hit a great ball. Robert Steenfjæld took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Lordi. Paloma Blanca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignacio Luzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Lordi having to make a save. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paloma Blanca's goalkeeper Francisco Lordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Arnaldo Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Ignacio Luzea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Francisco Lordi 53 minutes into the match. Ignacio Luzeas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Francisco Lordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute, one of Paloma Blanca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paloma Blanca. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Balboa's Robert Steenfjæld got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Francisco Lordi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Luzea in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Lordi saved Paloma Blanca from getting behind. Paloma Blanca's Francisco Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Txeru in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 minutes, Ignacio Luzea made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Paloma Blanca's Francisco Lordi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Luzea took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Lordi. Francisco Lordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 82nd minute, Arnaldo Txeru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ignacio Luzeas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Francisco Lordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Paloma Blanca's Francisco Lordi got control of the ball when Ignacio Luzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laureano Mannie's late challenge caught a Balboa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Mannie helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paloma Blanca's Laureano Mannie got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 96 played minutes Paloma Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Reynardo. When the match was over Balboa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paloma Blanca throughout the match.
