When Generoso Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Bustamante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Leheren couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adrian Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mozambique's goalkeeper Nicolas Ordono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Lope in the 20th minute of play forced Bustamante's goalkeeper Guaberto Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Ordono having to interfere. Adrian Jaunti struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Nicolas Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bustamante. 26 minutes into the game, Aaron Gaitan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mozambique's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bustamante the free kick. Aaron Gaitan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. During the 28th minute of the match Aaron Gaitan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aaron Gaitan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Mozambique getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aaron Gaitan hit a great ball. Nicolas Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernardino Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Bernardino Crispo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Ordono. Mozambique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Crispo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Rocio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bernardino Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Mozambique got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Lope. Nicolas Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Mozambique's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Jaunti came free, but Nicolas Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mozambique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Adrian Jaunti notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mozambique's Nicolas Ordono. Nicolas Ordono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Mozambique's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Jaunti came free, but Nicolas Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Firme during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Bustamante got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Firme. Bernardino Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nicolas Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bustamante's Adrian Jaunti in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mozambique's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolas Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Bustamante's Generoso Leheren got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mozambique fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bustamante were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
