Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Epifanio Benet started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Rulo defense, Bonifacio Reynardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Erauso. The Rulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Erauso should have stopped the shot. Ranquilcó FC's Epifanio Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Reynardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Erauso. Rulo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Reynardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ricardo Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Benet in the 14th minute of play. If Bonifacio Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Erauso came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranquilcó FC's Bonifacio Reynardo. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Reynardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Rulo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Justino Gonzales hit a great ball. Justino Gonzales's late challenge caught a Ranquilcó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Gonzales helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48thth minute of the game Epifanio Benet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rulo's Ricardo Erauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Abaurre came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Rulo's Geronimo Marquez. But to his dismay, Geronimo Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Gustavo Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Benet in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Rulo got a freekick which was hit by Celso Castel. Epifanio Benet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Erauso having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Benet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Erauso was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Bonifacio Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquilcó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Reynardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Erauso having to interfere. Epifanio Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
