In the 18thth minute of the game Remigio Ikatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Marcial Jatsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcial Jatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Menendo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edgard Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alberto Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Ipar having to interfere. With a little luck, Ifrán AFC's Julian Ipar got control of the ball when Osvaldo Godoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ifrán AFC defense, Osvaldo Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Ipar. The Ifrán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Ipar should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Menendo succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The supporters of Ifrán AFC booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ifrán AFC's Edgard Oliverio tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Ipar having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ifrán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Menendo came free, but Julian Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Ifrán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Harri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Alberto Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes, Delmar Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ifrán AFC and the Candelaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Alberto Menendo sped through Ifrán AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Ipar. When Aristides Xabat fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ifrán AFC's protests and gave Aristides Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ifrán AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aristides Xabat hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alberto Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Ipar was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ifrán AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Candelaria.
