Victoriano Arena's goalkeeper Isidoro Felo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Berbiz. After having played for 22 minutes, Leon Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Victoriano Arena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Tobias Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club A. Victoriano Arena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 30thth minute of the game Leon Maidana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franja Football Club's Nereo Cibran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgilio Cordaryal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Franja Football Club's Moises Chayo suffered a concussion in the 31st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 35 minutes into the match, Franja Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Nuñez came free, but Nereo Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nereo Cibran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leon Maidana came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Club A. Victoriano Arena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Maidana couldn't finish the play. Nereo Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Tobias Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Cibran. Franja Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Astor Berbiz made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Nuñez took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Cibran. Nereo Cibran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Tobias Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Leon Maidana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nereo Cibran, passed just outside the right post. In the 67th minute Astor Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Club A. Victoriano Arena's Leon Maidana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Cibran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Maidana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Club A. Victoriano Arena's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Club A. Victoriano Arena's Leon Maidana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Cibran. That made the score 0-5 after 75 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Berbiz in the 79th minute of play forced Club A. Victoriano Arena's goalkeeper Isidoro Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club A. Victoriano Arena getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Thomás Furtado hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Saverio Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Tobias Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club A. Victoriano Arena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. If Leon Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Cibran having to interfere. Club A. Victoriano Arena's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
