The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fábio Montenegro went to the wrong direction when Luís Poças was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to SC Terroal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Márcio Neves hit a great ball. The SC Terroal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Terroal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
