Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damian Meadowcroft took the kick off in the first half of the match. Damian Meadowcroft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Husbands's goalkeeper Charles Hurst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erubiel Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Husbands got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Folan. Daniel Howson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Meadowcroft, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tristram Grantham hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Whitworth in the 26th minute of play forced Husbands's goalkeeper Charles Hurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arcena's Daniel Howson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Meadowcroft in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Rio Lyons had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, Husbands's Erubiel Ignazio got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Husbands's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Saunders came free, but Charles Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Edward Saunders reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles Hurst. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Christopher Jepson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Jepson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Arcena's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Terpstra came free, but Daniel Howson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Marek Coote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Saunders to strike the kick off in the second half. Arcena's Daniel Howson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Terpstra in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Howson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Damian Meadowcroft sent off a good shot on target. Charles Hurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Jepson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Meadowcroft came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Howson could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Damian Meadowcroft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husbands's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Meadowcroft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Howson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Husbands's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Saunders came free, but Charles Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Husbands got a freekick which was hit by David Mortimer. When Nat Tuck came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Arcena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nat Tuck couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute Shaun Bowen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Hurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Daniel Howson managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Husbands's Damian Meadowcroft fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Howson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Terpstra in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Damian Meadowcroft could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Daniel Howson however easily saved by the left post. The Husbands fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Husbands's Mathias Terpstra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arcena's Daniel Howson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Arcena from getting a goal against them. When Mathias Terpstra fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Husbands's protests and gave Mathias Terpstra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Mathias Terpstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Arcena got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Jepson. Damian Meadowcroft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Daniel Howson made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arcena fans cheered their team off the field, for while Husbands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
