Richard Verity was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Mitch Lightfoot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. byby Im Bored.com's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northwood the free kick. After 31 played minutes byby Im Bored.com got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Lightfoot. Northwood were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after byby Im Bored.com's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matty Mitchell took the corner. After taking down the ball on Northwood's corner Matty Mitchell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Verity quite easily take care of the ball. Jerome Trusswell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Don Amos having to interfere. Gav Brodie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Don Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Jerome Trusswell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Junior Ellison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, byby Im Bored.com's Verne Morning got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Billy Long had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Mumford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Verity having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Northwood's goalkeeper Don Amos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, byby Im Bored.com's Jerome Trusswell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Don Amos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Northwood booed when byby Im Bored.com was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Bettney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Verity stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Ellison's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Billy Long might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Verity. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Long ran back to his position shaking his head. Junior Ellison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. The Northwood players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
