After 19 played minutes Borås BK got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Lingren. Herman Collin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erling Nyström went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Herbert Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Vilhelm Lingren fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borås BK's protests and gave Vilhelm Lingren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Vilhelm Lingren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Borås BK's zone, Niklas Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Granö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Håkansson should have stopped the shot.
