Herman Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Pilgren in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Pilgren in the 25th minute of play forced Borås BK's goalkeeper Herman Collin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Mölnbo's Simon Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herman Collin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Arne Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mölnbo's protests and gave Arne Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Arne Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Pilgren in the 33rd minute of play. Herman Collin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Rolfsson went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Borås BK got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Vall. After recieving a nice pass, Mölnbo's Edwin Larsson tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Borås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ingvar Söderqwist made the kick off in the second half. Edwin Larsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Philip Pilgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herman Collin, 1-4. Herman Collin made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Simon Rolfsson sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Philip Pilgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herman Collin, 1-5. Simon Rolfsson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Herman Collin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mölnbo. When Daniel Skröder fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mölnbo's protests and gave Daniel Skröder a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice moves Simon Rolfsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Herman Collin however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Mölnbo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borås BK throughout the match.
