Boruc Modrzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Ekerot's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Tolek Kornasiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Johannes Ekerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ManU Zabrze's Boruc Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Quaresma in the 37th minute of play. If Arí das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Rakowicz to make the kick off. Mateusz Zarobski's late challenge caught a ManU Zabrze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateusz Zarobski helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Wisłoka Nowy Żmigród got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Zarobski. 56 minutes into the game, Johannes Ekerot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Boruc Modrzewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Johannes Ekerot took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Boruc Modrzewski to make any attempt to save it. Johannes Ekerot took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boruc Modrzewski. Boruc Modrzewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Wisłoka Nowy Żmigród's Cyryl Furgat was substituted for Wilfredo Paulin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Ekerot got free with Boruc Modrzewski in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ManU Zabrze's Boruc Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí das Neves in the 85th minute of play. Tolek Kornasiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolek Kornasiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, ManU Zabrze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Kornasiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Boruc Modrzewski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Johannes Ekerot sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Edgar Charamut stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boruc Modrzewski. 1-4. 95 minutes into the match, ManU Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Arí das Neves came free, but Boruc Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Moryl kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The ManU Zabrze fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wisłoka Nowy Żmigród were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
