Spectators: 7999 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ainis Naudzuns got the match started through his kick off. If Daniël Middeljans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Sebastiaan Molhoek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergeikers and the Domwier Excelsior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Dagelet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Scutti hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Daniël Middeljans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olo Marcos. Daniël Middeljans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Ainis Naudzuns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Scutti to maneuver through the defense. Daniël Middeljans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bergeikers's Olo Marcos got control of the ball when Daniël Middeljans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Bergeikers's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Bronkhorst came free, but Olo Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronald Bult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Scutti kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Domwier Excelsior's Ronald Bult in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Olo Marcos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bergeikers through an amazing save. 34 minutes into the match, Fatih-Sultan Mehmet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Holt. Domwier Excelsior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih-Sultan Mehmet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Harmen Baan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Holt came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Bergeikers's Ainis Naudzuns. But to his dismay, Ainis Naudzuns quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Bult to strike the kick off in the second half. Eelco Ricksen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Daniël Middeljans struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Olo Marcos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domwier Excelsior. Jaap Sloedingen kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Martien Bronkhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bergeikers's Eelco Ricksen got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ainis Naudzuns took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Holt. Johannes Holt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Daniël Middeljans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bergeikers booed when Domwier Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Bult didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Domwier Excelsior's Johannes Holt got control of the ball when Fatih-Sultan Mehmet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frans Kämpe lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bergeikers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Ronald Bult took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olo Marcos. Olo Marcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Eelco Ricksen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Joost Telkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Bergeikers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
