Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flemming Fochler started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Lemmerz in the 6th minute of play forced Hüttenheim FSV's goalkeeper Kersten Piter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kersten Piter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Lemmerz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Flemming Fochler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bleicher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Siedlung Neu Borstel's Andy Lemmerz in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hüttenheim FSV's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Lemmerz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kersten Piter saved Hüttenheim FSV from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Hüttenheim FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Lemmerz came free, but Kersten Piter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Bugera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Bleicher having to interfere. Flemming Fochler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Tommy Bleicher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kersten Piter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Heiske, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Flemming Fochler struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tommy Bleicher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hüttenheim FSV. In the 37th minute Andy Lemmerz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kersten Piter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Lemmerz scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kersten Piter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Lemmerz to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Heiske got free with Kersten Piter in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piet Dreher hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Siedlung Neu Borstel defense, Kim Bugera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Bleicher. The Siedlung Neu Borstel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Bleicher should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match Gustav Boberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Bleicher skillfully saved the ball. Joakim Ohme hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tommy Bleicher came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Hüttenheim FSV's Kim Bugera. But to his dismay, Kim Bugera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lukas Weixler hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Joakim Ohme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hüttenheim FSV! Raik Borgmann shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hüttenheim FSV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
