After a defensive mix-up in Ultimate FC's zone, Beniamino Sankt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nino Pfiffer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Rüdemann in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Nick Carbonelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ultimate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Ultimate FC booed when Belfaux AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Cinq-Mars didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Belfaux AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ultimate FC were winning 0-1.

Florian Moret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamino Sankt, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Beniamino Sankt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Florian Moret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beniamino Sankt struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Florian Moret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belfaux AC. Belfaux AC's Eamon Wespi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Ultimate FC's Jonathan Rüdemann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nino Pfiffer. Nino Pfiffer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 66th minute Beniamino Sankt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Moret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Ultimate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Koenig to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Conor Eberhart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Beat Ferrante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultimate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beat Ferrante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belfaux AC's Nino Pfiffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Ferrante in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eamon Wespi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Moret saved Ultimate FC from getting behind. Florian Moret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eamon Wespi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Beniamino Sankt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ultimate FC's Florian Moret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eamon Wespi in the 90th minute of play.
