Pfaffensprung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dielsdorf AC the free kick. Joe Sperisen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the game, Lukas Apicella landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Gmür during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthony Gmür hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Argus Fassbind's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julien Weiss was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Joao Kappel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pfaffensprung's supporters rose to their feet, but Joao Kappel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julien Weiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julien Weiss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joao Kappel's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. During the 38th minute of the match Joe Sperisen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joe Sperisen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 38 played minutes Pfaffensprung got a freekick which was hit by Joe Sperisen. Anthony Gmür got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anthony Gmür hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Huber Grubenmann made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Roger Kappel sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Argus Fassbind kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julien Weiss. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Pfaffensprung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joao Kappel to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes, Dielsdorf AC's Palmiro Sevier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Huber Grubenmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dielsdorf AC reached it. Huber Grubenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Kappel in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joao Kappel during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmiro Sevier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Huber Grubenmann. Pfaffensprung's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dielsdorf AC's zone, Joao Kappel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julien Weiss came out of the goal and Joao Kappel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julien Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joao Kappel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Julien Weiss came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Pfaffensprung's Argus Fassbind. But to his dismay, Argus Fassbind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 78th minute Joao Kappel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joao Kappel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. 86 minutes into the game, Pier Giger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Julien Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marc Kaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Argus Fassbind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pfaffensprung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argus Fassbind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pfaffensprung played a much better game than Dielsdorf AC and deserved their victory. The Dielsdorf AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
