In the 10th minute Abraham Rothstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colin Lingg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Rothstein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Colin Lingg. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Red-Skorpion's Michael Theiler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Emhardt in the 23rd minute of play. Silvester Keller in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Colin Lingg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Vionnaz's goalkeeper Colin Lingg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvester Keller. The Red-Skorpion fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Red-Skorpion's Miroslav Jenzer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Red-Skorpion's zone, Brendan Büeler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Theiler came out of the goal and Brendan Büeler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernhard Gier hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Michael Theiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Emhardt in the 40th minute of the match. Silvester Keller in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Colin Lingg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute Miroslav Jenzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colin Lingg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abraham Rothstein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vionnaz's Colin Lingg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvester Keller in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Vionnaz getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Frasier Eisenberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vionnaz defense, Abraham Rothstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colin Lingg. The Vionnaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colin Lingg should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Abraham Rothstein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Colin Lingg. Vionnaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Rothstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Abraham Rothstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Colin Lingg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colin Lingg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Abraham Rothstein elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Brendan Büeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Bühlmann hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Red-Skorpion. Salomone Weber stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Colin Lingg. 7-0. 88 minutes into the match, Red-Skorpion's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Emhardt came free, but Michael Theiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red-Skorpion's Bernhard Gier got a free kick in the 89th minute. Red-Skorpion's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
