In the 3rd minute Gavril Albuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Buteanu made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Lucian Bungescu sent off a good shot on target. Călin Buteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Pivniceru in the 9th minute of the match. Lucian Bungescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Buteanu having to interfere. In the 13th minute Dorel Hapaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Centurion Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Hârtopanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Acatincăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mardare, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gavril Albuț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felix Acatincăi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucian Bungescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Rojistea UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Ailioaiei to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Centurion Lions's Sabin Hârtopanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Călin Buteanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Centurion Lions reached it. In the 26th minute of the match Martin Mardare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Acatincăi skillfully saved the ball. Bogdan Mazăre charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Mazăre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Centurion Lions's Felix Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Albuț in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Rojistea UFC. Martin Mardare stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felix Acatincăi. 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Rojistea UFC's Dorel Hapaina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Acatincăi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Rojistea UFC's Călin Buteanu got control of the ball when Lucian Bungescu tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorel Hapaina to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Lucian Bungescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centurion Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Bungescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Buteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lucian Bungescu sped through Rojistea UFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Călin Buteanu. Dorel Hapaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Acatincăi having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dorel Hapaina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centurion Lions's Felix Acatincăi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Rojistea UFC defense, Lucian Bungescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Buteanu. The Rojistea UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Buteanu should have stopped the shot. Călin Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Mazăre in the 75th minute of play. Rojistea UFC's Gavril Albuț got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Pivniceru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rojistea UFC's Călin Buteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Bungescu in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Centurion Lions's goalkeeper Felix Acatincăi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavril Albuț. After a rather tough play, Centurion Lions's Călin Creangă got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Centurion Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mardare came free, but Felix Acatincăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centurion Lions's Felix Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Hapaina in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes of play Centurion Lions's Bogdan Mazăre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorel Hapaina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Acatincăi. That made the score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play.
