Zigmantas Musteikis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simonas Sutkus. Forest Power's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomiro Gamus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Simonas Sutkus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nedas Ratkus's late challenge caught a Forest Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nedas Ratkus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Nedas Ratkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Irmantas Zaleckas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simonas Sutkus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adas Abakevičius went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sylwester Fujarczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vygandas Daugirdas in the 30th minute of play. Vygandas Daugirdas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Fujarczuk. Sylwester Fujarczuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, vAbAlAy's Juozas Vilkas got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 45 minutes of play, vAbAlAy's Adas Abakevičius made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simonas Sutkus was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juozas Vilkas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Forest Power's goalkeeper Simonas Sutkus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Forest Power getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zigmantas Diržys hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Forest Power got a freekick which was hit by Henrikas Motiejūnas. Gvidas Mišeikis's late challenge caught a vAbAlAy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gvidas Mišeikis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Forest Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjaminas Zakas to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Benas Puščius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Fujarczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Forest Power defense, Juozas Vilkas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simonas Sutkus. The Forest Power fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simonas Sutkus should have stopped the shot. Jotautas Brazas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juozas Vilkas in the 86th minute of play. When Juozas Vilkas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the vAbAlAy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juozas Vilkas couldn't finish the play.
