Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teijo Viinanen got the match started through his kick off. Sauli Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyri Etula in the 4th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Tarmo Koivuranta put in a rough tackle. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PR Merkkausvirhe! In the 9th minute of the game, Saarimäki FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The audience was convinced that Teijo Viinanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akseli Sulku was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Tommi Palo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyri Etula in the 19th minute of play forced Saarimäki FC's goalkeeper Sauli Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onni Rantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teijo Viinanen in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akseli Sulku saved PR Merkkausvirhe from getting behind. Akseli Sulku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onni Rantala in the 29th minute. Akseli Sulku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teijo Viinanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teijo Viinanen in the 32nd minute of play. Sauli Forss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jyri Etula's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. A collision led to PR Merkkausvirhe getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Miro Uotila hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teijo Viinanen in the 42nd minute of play forced PR Merkkausvirhe's goalkeeper Akseli Sulku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teijo Viinanen in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Onni Rantala made a precise shot to the right of Akseli Sulku. PR Merkkausvirhe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jyri Etula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teijo Viinanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akseli Sulku. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teijo Viinanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Akseli Sulku came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala. But to his dismay, Onni Rantala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Teijo Viinanen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akseli Sulku. PR Merkkausvirhe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teijo Viinanen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 66th match minute, Saarimäki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaleva Tikka to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Veli-Matti Karvinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sauli Forss made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tommi Palo sent off a good shot on target. Akseli Sulku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onni Rantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Joakim Lumme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Onni Rantala notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku. Akseli Sulku was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teijo Viinanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akseli Sulku having to interfere. Akseli Sulku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teijo Viinanen in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jyri Etula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sauli Forss. Saarimäki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jyri Etula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Onni Rantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akseli Sulku having to interfere. Saarimäki FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PR Merkkausvirhe for a fine match.
