In the 46th minute of the match Rauli Järventie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sauli Forss skillfully saved the ball. Tauno Laulaja took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sauli Forss. Saarimäki FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Saarimäki FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Surnu were winning 0-3.

FC Surnu's Daavid Haanpää got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes FC Surnu got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Perämäki. 66 minutes into the game, Oliver Perämäki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Surnu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saarimäki FC the free kick. In the 66th match minute, FC Surnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Perämäki to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Saarimäki FC booed when FC Surnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmo Hakanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Saarimäki FC's Sauli Forss got control of the ball when Daavid Haanpää tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Daavid Haanpää put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sauli Forss. When Daavid Haanpää came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC Surnu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daavid Haanpää couldn't finish the play. Rauli Järventie kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Daavid Haanpää got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
