Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Lucas in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PREZULO FC's zone, Giuseppe Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião Linhares came out of the goal and Giuseppe Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Perez. 20 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Perivaldo Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Secco during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Jeferson Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severino Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Samurai Champions FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luís Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Seco struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Anderson Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. Rogério Massa's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Massa helped the player get up and apologised. Rogério Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Samurai Champions FC's Kiko Antunes tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Tião Linhares got control of the ball when Giuseppe Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeferson Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeferson Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jonathan Severo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tião Linhares to make any attempt to save it. Jeferson Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Anderson Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Perivaldo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Saldanha got free with Tião Linhares in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Félix. Anderson Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Lucas in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tião Linhares. Giuseppe Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Samurai Champions FC's Anderson Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Lucas in the 93rd minute of play. Perivaldo Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Porto having to interfere. Severino Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anderson Porto having to make a save.
