Pedro Luís Saldanha started the match with the kick off. Anderson Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Premier FC's Vítor Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Saldanha in the 5th minute of play. Anderson Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Cearense in the 6th minute of the match. Valdomiro Cearense took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anderson Porto. Anderson Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kiko Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Capixaba in the 12th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Anderson Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Valdomiro Cearense got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Jardel Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltazar Prata hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Amaral having to make a save. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro Cearense to strike the kick off in the second half.
