Argentinean Patriots 1816's supporters rose to their feet, but Bello Cura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Olo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Tusk came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gualterio Daunte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Olo. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 27th match minute, FC Kopenalguen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Crescencio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mauro Olo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bello Cura in the 35th minute of play. The throw-in from Baldomiro Ospetsu in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Kopenalguen's Rolando Estevez. In the 39th minute Pankracy Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lech Trela fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopenalguen's protests and gave Lech Trela a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of FC Kopenalguen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Argentinean Patriots 1816:s goal. Mauro Olo had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Bello Cura's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bello Cura made a kick off. If Dario Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben-Ami Ranchin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinean Patriots 1816's zone, Pankracy Tusk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Rio came out of the goal and Pankracy Tusk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Kopenalguen's Folke Gregersson was substituted for Edgard Donzel. FC Kopenalguen's Rosario Cornett was substituted for Delfim Secco.
