Manoel da Costa's late challenge caught a S.E. Porcos Verdes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Igarau FC's zone, Augusto do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano de Carvalho came out of the goal and Augusto do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manoel da Costa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Augusto do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the S.E. Porcos Verdes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fábio Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rafinha Marinho hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Cearense in the 20th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Augusto do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.E. Porcos Verdes's Augusto do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to S.E. Porcos Verdes getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alexandre Teixeira hit a great ball. Pedrinho Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Botelho having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, S.E. Porcos Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Bastos came free, but Tiago Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Bastos was the one to do the kick off. S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Rosa in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Igarau FC's zone, Augusto do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano de Carvalho came out of the goal and Augusto do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Walmyr Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Queirós during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celsinho Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Rafinha Marinho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Tiago Botelho to make any attempt to save it. If Luiz Fábio Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glauco Rosa succeeded in the game's 80th minute to get real power on a long shot . S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Augusto do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano de Carvalho having to interfere. S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Porcos Verdes from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fábio Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Botelho having to interfere.
