In the 4th minute, Matias Corte-Real got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, one of BEST IN THE WORLD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BEST IN THE WORLD. In the 12th minute, F.C Pernas de Pau got a penalty, and Hermenegildo Caeiro placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for F.C Pernas de Pau! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for BEST IN THE WORLD. Fabrício Santarém stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Carvalhais. 1-1. Olavo Estrela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fabrício Raposo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Olavo Estrela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST IN THE WORLD's Fabrício Raposo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F.C Pernas de Pau's Fernando Carvalhais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Alves in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, BEST IN THE WORLD's Luís Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Carvalhais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Estrela in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Raposo saved BEST IN THE WORLD from getting behind. Fernando Carvalhais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Corte-Real's shot from short distance in the 38th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Estrela to make the kick off. F.C Pernas de Pau's Fernando Carvalhais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C Pernas de Pau from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Olavo Estrela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 57 in the game by Luís Alves from a close distance when the talented Fernando Carvalhais managed to make a qualified save. F.C Pernas de Pau's players were relieved. Fabrício Raposo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Estrela, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Luís Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fernando Carvalhais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermenegildo Figueiredo scored 2-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Raposo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luís Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over BEST IN THE WORLD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C Pernas de Pau throughout the match.
