Celso Vilaça stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dércio Amaral. 1-0. Pedro Vilalobos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Rúben Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dércio Amaral, 2-0. Dércio Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Johansson in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of G D Idanha booed when Vaz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Xabel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Heitor Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Amaral having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burak Fino got free with Dércio Amaral in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, G D Idanha's Dércio Amaral threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heitor Travassos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rúben Neves was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, David Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When G D Idanha's Burak Fino, in the 57th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for G D Idanha. In the 59th minute, Jacob Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dércio Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 62 played minutes G D Idanha got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Cerqueira. Silvano Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Teixeira in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Caio Liberato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G D Idanha the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Vaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Liberato to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Lennart Johansson made a precise shot to the right of Dércio Amaral. Vaz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 88th minute Jacob Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, G D Idanha's Lennart Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dércio Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. G D Idanha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
