Club Atletico Fenix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vollmari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 6 minutes, Gustavo Llope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Totoras F.C. and the Club Atletico Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Gustavo Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Llope in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Thomas Vollmari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Nereo Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmari in the 27th minute of play. Bruce Wayne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Fenix defense, Gustavo Llope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Abarca. The Club Atletico Fenix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Abarca should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Gustavo Llope nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Abarca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Vollmari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Llope in the 52nd minute of play. Leopoldo Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Llope went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Victoriano Ilixo lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Club Atletico Fenix a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julio Txomin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of U21 Totoras F.C.'s Bruce Wayne. 1-7. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Fenix's Raul Cristofol got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca got control of the ball when Gustavo Llope tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Luo Ying Liang notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca. Leopoldo Abarca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustavo Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angel Hanni hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gustavo Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leopoldo Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Raul Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Wayne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustavo Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustavo Llope came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the U21 Totoras F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Llope couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gustavo Llope came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the U21 Totoras F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Llope couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Club Atletico Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Gau. When the match was over U21 Totoras F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Fenix throughout the match.
