The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremie Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. C.'s Luiz Fábio Souto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremie Van Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olivar Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Jeremie Van Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nixon Richard in the 14th minute of the match. Jeremie Van Nel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Souto's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Olivar Ribeiro came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Meng Kun Kun fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barões F. C.'s protests and gave Meng Kun Kun a yellow card for diving instead. Meng Kun Kun hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Barões F. C.'s Percy Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivar Ribeiro in the 25th minute of play. Jeremie Van Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nixon Richard in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Donato Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barões F. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nixon Richard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Barões F. Percy Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barões F. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olivar Ribeiro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Olivar Ribeiro came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
