In the 16th match minute, FC St. Pauli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wen Ke to maneuver through the defense. Thomás Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pranas Užkuraitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Lenzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Serginho Botelho made a huge save. FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC St. Pauli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristiano Bueno took the corner. In the 32nd minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute FC St. Pauli were awarded a corner. Wen Ke went to the cornerflag to take it. FC St. Pauli's Wen Ke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomás Fernandes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Serginho Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Ferreira in the 39th minute of the match. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The throw-in from Matheus Messias in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FALCÕES VERDES's Kai Havertz. Betinho Lenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Lenzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Lenzi ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Lenzi came free, but Serginho Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thomás Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 81st minute of play. FALCÕES VERDES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Kyle Percival scored to the left of an out of position Thomás Fernandes, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 87th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Thomás Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
