Dennis Maranzano kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deilmison van Basten in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Fernandes saved FALCÕES VERDES from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 16th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Thomás Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robin van Persie in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on ATHLETICO PRaiano's corner Robin van Persie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomás Fernandes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute, Heitor Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emre Çeliksu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rodriguinho Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Lenzi came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Lenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Maldini hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kai Havertz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gugu Mello made a kick off. Thomás Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deilmison van Basten in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65thth minute of the game Deilmison van Basten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomás Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Gugu Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Heitor Maldini hit a great ball. Juvenal Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Unax Mudarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Unax Mudarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute of the match, Unax Mudarra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomás Fernandes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after FALCÕES VERDES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robin van Persie took the corner. The corner led ATHLETICO PRaiano's Robin van Persie to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomás Fernandes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes. Thomás Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Juvenal Urbano hit a great ball. ATHLETICO PRaiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
