Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Umberto Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Edinho Oliveira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Valdomiro Cabral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Pinho in the 54th minute. Pedro Augusto Quintal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Beijo na Boca JR were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sergio to leave the ground with a draw.
