After 17 played minutes Edson Rosa rounded Criciuma's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Filipe Cavalcante took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Coutinho. Álvaro Coutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Criciuma's zone, Edson Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Coutinho came out of the goal and Edson Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Criciuma's Álvaro Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Fonseca in the 87th minute of play. Filipe Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Zé Pedro Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Fonseca went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beijo na Boca JR fully deserved thier win.
