If Augusto do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Armando Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Botelho. S.E. Porcos Verdes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute Walmyr Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Walmyr Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo do Valle. The goal made the score 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Armando Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, S.E. Porcos Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Dracena came free, but Tiago Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmyr Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elói de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Imbituva FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói de Toledo. Amauri Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Botelho having to interfere. Erasmo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto do Nascimento in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Manoel Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituva FC and the S.E. Porcos Verdes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imbituva FC's Manoel Vergílio got a free kick in the 70th minute. Elói de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tiago Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amauri Dracena in the 82nd minute. Chicão Costa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Imbituva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Rezende to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho got control of the ball when Armando Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Porcos Verdes's goalkeeper Tiago Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imbituva FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
