An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Ruy Meireles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Vianna in the 7th minute of play forced Lsiim F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ruy Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Elói Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lsiim F.C. and the Metolokos MZ Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lsiim F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Elói Nogueira hit a great ball. The supporters of Metolokos MZ Clube booed when Lsiim F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adriano do Valle sped through Metolokos MZ Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armandinho Carneiro. After a rather tough play, Lsiim F.C.'s Elói Nogueira got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Sena in the 36th minute of play forced Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Armandinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A wasted opportunity for Metolokos MZ Clube. 87 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Nogueira came free, but Armandinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruy Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Cristian Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metolokos MZ Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Eduardo Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Meireles in the 96th minute of the match. The Lsiim F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
