The MM g fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Neto should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Paz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Neto was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 20 minutes MM g's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caco Lopes who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Hipolito Paz sped through MM g's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladimir Neto. Vladimir Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Paz to make the kick off. MM g's Vladimir Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto da Fonseca in the 90th minute of play. MM g's Vladimir Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save MM g from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Vitório Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Neto. MM g's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. When the match was over Gralau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MM g throughout the match.
