Luke DeGaetano struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Kruel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube de Regatas Flamengo the free kick. In the 37th minute Elder Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Luke DeGaetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Firman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kruel FC:s Pedro Firman showed great skill when he stopped Luís Fabiano Rossi:s penalty. 45 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Batista came free, but Elias Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Elias Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Batista in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Kruel FC's Fabinho Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke DeGaetano in the 71st minute of the match. Sylvester Schwarzenegger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pedro Firman made a huge save. 74 minutes into the game, Tomasz Fiszer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pedro Firman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kruel FC's Marcos Mazza was substituted for Telmo Aguiar.
