When Amado Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivo fc's protests and gave Amado Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chivo fc's Amado Otsando got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Naelio got free with Cyprian Skarpiak in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cyprian Skarpiak was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Paolo Franco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Franco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 38th minute, Chivo fc's Loramendi Irigoras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Loramendi Irigoras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chivo fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Loramendi Irigoras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chivo fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Ermano 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
