With an all-out effort, Atletico SaraiTu's Concetto Brillante threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elia Tullo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Biondi to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Atletico SaraiTu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heroito Akkakà:s goal. 58 minutes into the game, Flavio Biondi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Ferrara. In the 69th minute Flavio Biondi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Ferrara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Tullo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Concetto Brillante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinrich Ziller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merle Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Atletico SaraiTu booed when Heroito Akkakà was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Beppe Galdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
