Merle Dixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Coscarella having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Alessio Cinque made a precise shot to the right of Concetto Brillante. Heroito Akkakà's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fortunato Coscarella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinrich Ziller in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 played minutes, PESCARA F.C.'s Anthony Mirto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Concetto Brillante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PESCARA F.C. reached it. Heinrich Ziller was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Heroito Akkakà's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 45 minutes into the game, Flavio Biondi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fortunato Coscarella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Emiliano Fioravanti made the kick off in the second half. Anthony Mirto got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Heroito Akkakà booed when PESCARA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Mirto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Flavio Biondi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Biondi took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fortunato Coscarella. Fortunato Coscarella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. If Merle Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Heroito Akkakà's goalkeeper Concetto Brillante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Fioravanti. Anfilogino Salemme kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Concetto Brillante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Comunardo Cerasoli went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Heroito Akkakà players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
