Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Brazil's Gilberto Donato. But to his dismay, Gilberto Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. U21 Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Donato in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Gilberto Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Paulo Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Donato in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Chutiwat Perna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Brazil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Denmark the free kick. In the 26th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chutiwat Perna to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Edvardt Bukgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvardt Bukgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Donato's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Gilberto Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Donato in the 43rd minute. Hans Almberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Donato took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. U21 Denmark's Jarl Rymkier was substituted for Arnold Baven. When Gilberto Donato fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Brazil's protests and gave Gilberto Donato a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U21 Brazil's Gilberto Donato got a free kick in the 64th minute. U21 Brazil's André Luís Viana was substituted for Pedro Paulo Veiga. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Rock La Forte replaced Gilberto Donato. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rock La Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, U21 Brazil's Sérgio Monteiro got control of the ball when Boris Jarleif tried to sneak it across the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
