National competitions not on a neutral field

I write here a message wrote on Italian forum by filtrus: "Assuming that this would be something totally irrelevant on a practical level of the game, I thought that all the national teams always and only play all their matches in the same "stadium", therefore being on a neutral pitch. But wouldn't it be interesting if European or world competitions were played in a different host country each time? As in reality, perhaps playing in the best stadiums of the teams in that country. I don't know if it would be feasible and I know that it would be a useless innovation for the game itself, but in my opinion it would make national team competitions much more interesting, giving it that extra touch of realism. And perhaps for some managers it would be a great satisfaction to see a World Cup match played in their own stadium, for example. Is it that bad of an idea? i think there are lots of things to make before but its an ok ideai think there are lots of things to make before
