The Whole of the Games Basics are still Flawed

A long time ago I moaned to crew that every season I was in a battle to beat bankruptcy, I never had any money , I challenged crew to tell me how the first teams to have a million to spend , where could the funds have came from , if it were not gifted, since then the annual tours came into place, and sadly I have needed them every season, when festive games and awards have been offered out I have had a healthy bank balance, but it does not last, as every time you try to invest in something, the sheer fact that the basic financial set up is flawed and is a fail, now after maybe 14 years, I am in danger of becoming bankrupt again , and here is why I think it is happening..
1, training is too slow, you have to hold on to developed players for too long, while you wait for the younger ones to come through..
2, too many youths fail to make it, if the above applies , the last thing you want is youths failing to make it , why have youths failing at all..
3, the total financial structure is a fail, the fact that teams have to be kept afloat by tours and seasonal offerings, gate money, prize money , lowering players and coaches wages, sponsorship money, if the game is a business model, and of course it is , should the model be refreshed from time to time..
I may just scrape through , but I sure as hell are not going to fight for it.
sorry in advance if I have offended anyone who is enjoying the game, good luck to you..

I think the first teams sell top players and participate in every competition to generate more money

I completely agree. Whoever built this game can't grasp the simple mechanics of economy. They make it a grind just to make ends meat. With friendlies having to be played. Cup income and the two tours for 18 friendlies you have to complete to break even.

You can get lucky training players and selling like I've done. But I've had to grind and grind and grind. I've hsf to be super patient. Not buying any player for more than 1m. I now have 7m with a squad mostly of home grown talents.

I scraped my original youth team as the returns were horrific. Genuinely not worth it.
Fringe players cost teams between 75-135k per season in wages. These players won't be bought because the game and market is dead.

Problem is that over the years every change they made to gameplay has been to please people that ask for changes that are not necessary and end up having a negative impact on the game

Why is it that fringe players are worthless? One simple reason, because nobody needs them. In the past you could only have 3 foreign players, so fringe players had value on the local market as mid-range teams would need them, the smaller the market the most valuable the player so you could usually recover your investment.
