How active is the game nowadays?

I used to play MZ a lot, but I stopped for a while. Now I'm thinking of getting back into it, but I'm not sure if people still play it. Is there still strong user engagement in the game? Also, are there any sites where one can connect with the community? (Discord, Reddit, stuff like that). PD. I know low divisions have many abandoned teams and there's almost no interaction among managers, my question is how's the engagement once you get to a medium level division.I used to play MZ a lot, but I stopped for a while. The game is active, the forums are pretty much shut down because interaction is handled through WhatsApp groups. The MZ Federation has no activity and few competitions. In Norway, we are now in a downward spiral regarding activity, this even though there have actually been a number of new managers in the last 3-4 seasons.
