How Many Subs / Tactics Support

Hi Team, Can I just clarify only 3 subs are allowed per game? Or are 4 allowed for friendlies as an example? Also, where can I find a breakdown on how we utilize the different tactical options for Mentality, Passing Style and Pressing? I want to test these to improve my team but unsure what differences I'll be looking for?? Many thanks in advanceHi Team,
