What's with all these Cup's

It seems like I keep getting signed up to cup comps that I'd rather not play in. I have a lot of players that are overplayed but my fixture list just keeps on getting full with cup comps. Have I ticked a box somewhere for this to happen or is there a way to stop this from going on? Cup competition doesn't affect players form so you can play them as much as you like. You should play in all of them as there is no negatives playing them. Go look information how to up keep your form properly so your players doesn't get overplayed. In short players should play 2 league games and 3-4 friendlies a week depending if you play extra matches on cups as they only affect positively on your players form. And to add that you can also play more than 2 league games with your players as after they have played 2 league games the rest of them doesn't have effect on players form. Cheers for the feedback, i did find it a bit confusing which games counted for form and income and so on.
