hi there,
I was more than upsed after my last game at home vs. Ottoman United.
After I look over the stats an we had (11 to 13)shots and bartibog better posesion, and passing; we lost with a severe 7 to 1. I think it was an error, it was too much. Somthing was wrong. Please revie the game and tell me what was so wrong to get such a severe defeat. My defender got red (we where down 1 to 5) and he is 10 on tackling, I thought he is a good defenceman.
If not an explanation at least a suggestion.
More than that 2 of my 3 forwards have 10 on shooting and this doesent seams to make a difference more than that the third one (with 7 on shooting) seams to be better than other 2. All af that is just an observation. Thank you.

Never mind on the #, I found the game. My assessment of the game and the lopsided scoring is due to the defense. You were basically playing 8 men against his 10 because the 4 man back line with the wingbacks out wide put them in no mans land with hardly any involvement in the game at all. So you had 2 defenders trying to defend his offense.

Do you think a 3-4-3 could do a better match-up, for this particular game.
Somebody, a while ago, told me if I let the players play together a long period of time they are playing better and better; the tactics of the opponent team doesn't mater much.

In my experience opponents tactic always matters. And yes players tend to perform better the longer they play together as long as they are playing in the right positions. Determining the right positions is a trial and error process, and time consuming. Any of the 3 man back line formations would have probably been better but no guarantees. 4 man back line formation if opponent has forwards or midfielders spread wider than the 18 yard box. This is all based on my experiences.
