Thiago Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Guedes made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Douglas Abreu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Souza in the 19th minute of play forced Galicioli F.C's goalkeeper Thiago Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Patrick Baiano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Galicioli F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Furtado. Galicioli F.C's Thiago Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Souza in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Patrick Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luís Souza to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Pedro Luís Souza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Veloso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Patrick Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pedro Luís Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Veloso having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Marcinho Baiano put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galicioli F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute, Douglas Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Guedes. Pyrenopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Marcus Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Abreu in the 96th minute of the match. Benjamim Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Guedes having to interfere. There was no doubt that Galicioli F.C were the better team. Galicioli F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
